OUR STORY

We believe strongly that good food can only be made from good ingredients.

Our Food

We take pride in every dish we put out and are devoted to delivering the best dining experience possible to each of our diners. We don't believe in taking shortcuts when it comes to food and make all of our dressings and sauces in house.

We believe strongly that good food can only be made from good ingredients.

Our Restaurant

Our main dining room features state of the art smokeless hibachi tables each accommodating parties as large as ten. We also offer a semi-private dining space for larger parties.

Our History

We opened our family owned restaurant with the intention of sharing traditional Japanese hibachi style cooking with the low country and it was one of the first of its kind.

In 1988 the Murrells Inlet location opened as Kyoto Japanese Steakhouse, and later became Miyabi Kyoto Japanese Steakhouse in 1998. And the formerly known Miyabi Kyoto Japanese Steakhouse in Charleston opened in 1998.

Over our 30 years in business we have changed our name, moved and expanded but our dedication to traditional cooking techniques and serving the freshest ingredients available has remained the same.
